Mark trail as private

The app allows you to upload trails in either "public" or "private" mode. You can decide whether a trail should be public or private both when saving it and after it has been saved.

Changing trail privacy

To change a trail from public to private, enter the trail and select Edit. Then, switch to Private under the Privacy option.

Managing private trails

When a trail is marked as private, it cannot be added to any list. However, you will find it in the list of Your trails. Although private lists can be created, the trails within these lists remain visible; only the list's name is private.

Setting trails as private by default

It is not possible to set trails as private by default, except for those that come from integrations with Garmin and Suunto. You can configure the trails from the Garmin/Suunto section on the website > Settings to automatically upload as private.

Sharing a private trail

The app does not allow sharing trails with only certain users. Trails are private or public, and private trails cannot be shared.
