How to mute or unmute someone
Mute someone
You can mute a single user if you do not want to receive more notifications about their activity. By muting another user, you will stop receiving notifications about any interaction from this user with your account, including private messages, applause, and comments on your trails. Wikiloc will not inform them that they have been muted.
To mute someone from the app:
- Go to their profile.
- Tap the three-dots menu button (top-right of the user's profile screen).
- Tap the Mute (username) option.
- You will be asked if you are sure. Click Confirm.
To mute someone from the website
- Go to the profile of the user you want to mute.
- Click on the three-dot menu next to the Follow/Following label to open the dropdown menu.
- Click on Mute (username).
Unmute someone
You can reactivate notifications from a muted user if you want to receive updates on their activity again. Wikiloc will not let them know they're unmuted.
To unmute someone:
- Go to their profile.
- Tap the Muted button or the three-dots menu button.
- Click on Unmute (username).
