Have you accidentally deleted a trail from the website?

When you record a trail, it is automatically uploaded to Wikiloc when you save it. If you accidentally delete it from the website, don't worry. You can upload it again if you have saved it locally on your device. Here is more information on how to mark a trail as available offline.

You can re-upload the trail to Wikiloc by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Profile tab in the Wikiloc App and tap on the Lists tab.
  2. Find the list Available offline.
  3. Enter the card of the trail you want to upload.
  4. Tap on the Share button, which you will find in the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Tap on Export File, and choose, for example, your email (if you open the web from a computer or another device) or a file manager (if you want to open the web from the same device).
  6. This file saves information about the title, description, itinerary, and Waypoints. Make sure you have downloaded separately all the photos you want to post.
  7. If you choose to send it by email, open it on your computer.
  8. Open the Wikiloc website, upload the saved trail, and manually add the images.
  9. You can delete the original trail from the app to avoid duplicating it on your phone.
