Activate location permissions
Did you click on Locate me in the route planner and receive this message?
If you see the message Geolocation error: User denied Geolocation, follow these steps to activate location permissions in your browser:
Google Chrome
- Click on the lock icon ("View site information") to the left of the address bar.
- In the dropdown menu that opens, scroll down to the Location section.
- If the Location option is turned off (as shown in the image), click the switch to turn it on.
- After adjusting the permissions, reload the webpage.
- These steps should allow the browser to access your location.
Mozilla Firefox
- Click on the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
- Select More information.
- In the panel that opens, click on Permissions.
- Find Access your location and check the Allow box.
Microsoft Edge
- Click on the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
- Select Permissions for this site.
- Find Location and select Allow.
Safari (macOS)
- Go to Preferences in the Safari menu.
- In the dropdown, select Location.
- Select Wikiloc.com and enable the Allow option.
Safari (iOS)
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and select Safari.
- Tap Location.
- Select Allow.
After adjusting these permissions, reload the web page. The browser should now be able to access your location. If the message Geolocation error: User denied Geolocation still appears, make sure that location services are enabled in your device settings.
