Activate location permissions

Did you click on Locate me in the route planner and receive this message?

If you see the message Geolocation error: User denied Geolocation, follow these steps to activate location permissions in your browser:


Google Chrome

  1. Click on the lock icon ("View site information") to the left of the address bar.
  2. In the dropdown menu that opens, scroll down to the Location section.
  3. If the Location option is turned off (as shown in the image), click the switch to turn it on.
  4. After adjusting the permissions, reload the webpage.
  5. These steps should allow the browser to access your location.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Select More information.
  3. In the panel that opens, click on Permissions.
  4. Find Access your location and check the Allow box.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click on the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
  2. Select Permissions for this site.
  3. Find Location and select Allow.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Go to Preferences in the Safari menu.
  2. In the dropdown, select Location.
  3. Select Wikiloc.com and enable the Allow option.

Safari (iOS)

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and select Safari.
  3. Tap Location.
  4. Select Allow.

After adjusting these permissions, reload the web page. The browser should now be able to access your location. If the message Geolocation error: User denied Geolocation still appears, make sure that location services are enabled in your device settings.
