The App crashes immediately after opening
Don't have the Wikiloc App yet? Get it here!
On very rare occasions, the App data can have problems that force the App to close just after opening it:
If you don't have trails to upload, delete the App and then reinstall. This will erase all the local data of the App including any unpublished trails there may have been.
If you have pending routes to upload, contact us and we will try to find a solution for you so as not to lose any trails and be able to use the App again.

UPDATE (April 23rd, 2020, Android)
It seems that all apps that use the Google Maps software development kit are closing unexpectedly when launching, starting April 23rd at 10 p.m., CEST.
It is a Google error which we hope will be solved soon.
As a temporary solution, you can delete the app's data (cache + data) in Preferences > Apps > Wikiloc > Storage > Clear data.
Alternatively, you can reinstall the Wikiloc app (uninstall and install from Google Play).
Before doing so, note that all trails will be removed from your "Local Copy Only" list (Wikiloc app > Profile tab).
If you had no trails in this list pending to be uploaded to Wikiloc, you can proceed with the aforementioned solutions without any problem. However, if you had trails on this list and you want to keep them, we suggest you wait for Google to find and deploy a solution (the last estimate we have received was 48 hours, from April 24 at 10:00, CEST).
We will update the information as Google keeps posting updates.
