What Wikiloc sets up for you when you save a trail (and how to change It)
When you record a trail and save it in Wikiloc, the app helps you by applying a few initial settings so you can publish it quickly. Even so, you always have full control to review and adjust them as needed. Here’s an overview of these settings and when you can change them.
Initial settings when saving your trail
When you save a trail, Wikiloc automatically sets:
- Difficulty: Moderate
- Visibility: Public
If you prefer, you can modify these settings right when saving the trail or later on, once it’s already published.
Title and description
Wikiloc will suggest a title and a description based on your activity, but you can change them anytime:
- When saving the trail, before publishing it.
- Later on, from the Edit trail option on the trail’s screen.
