Send trails from Wikiloc to your GPS (via USB cable)

Follow a Wikiloc trail from your GPS (Garmin, Suunto, Wahoo, etc.)

Requirements
:

The trail needs to be saved on your computer in a valid format for your device (usually .gpx).
If you don't have the trail file, download it for free from Wikiloc's website. Here we show you how.

How to send it:

In most GPS devices, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Connect the GPS device through a USB cable to your computer.
  2. The internal memory and/or the micro SD card will be detected as disk units.
  3. Access internal memory
  4. Copy the trail file to the trails/tracks/trips folder from your internal memory.
Some GPS manufacturers hide this folder. Click on the "Show hidden files" on your computer settings to see them.
  5. On your GPS, go to your trails/tracks/trips section, and you are set to go!

This method is for legacy/old GPS devices but the process can vary between models and brands. Please check your GPS' manufacturer documentation for specific instructions on how to send GPX/KML files to your GPS device.
