Send trails from Wikiloc to your Bryton
Follow a Wikiloc trail from your Bryton
Requirements:
- Have the Wikiloc App downloaded on your smartphone.
- Have a Wikiloc Premium subscription. How to get it here.
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Bryton Active app downloaded on your smartphone.
Ensure that your Bryton device is paired with the Bryton Active app on your smartphone.
(NOTE: The Bryton Active app syncs with Brytonactive.com. If you already have a Brytonactive.com account, use the same account to log in to the Bryton Active app, and vice versa.)
Download the trail
- Find the trail you want to follow on the Wikiloc app.
- Tap the Send to your GPS button and then Send Trail as File.
- If you have an iPhone:
- The app automatically converts the trail to a standard format (.gpx) that the Bryton Active App can read.
- You can find the Bryton Active App by clicking on it in the "More" list.
- If your smartphone is Android, you will need a file manager. We recommend File Saver (an app you can download from Google Play).
- Choose the "File Saver" app.
- Save the file to the folder of your choice on your mobile.
- Go to this folder, select the file, and choose to open it using the Bryton Active App.
Send the trail from the Bryton Active app to your Bryton device:
- Open the route in the Bryton Active app, assign it a name when prompted, and tap Confirm.
- The route will automatically be saved in the My Route section.
- Go to My Route and select the route name to view its details.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) and select Download to device.
Now your trail is ready on your Bryton device! 🚴♂️
