Google Play App Update: "invalid file" error message (Android)

Do you get an error note indicating that "file is not valid" while updating the App from Google Play?
Try to fix it using the following steps:
- From Google Play Services, go to Apps
- Clear the cache and the data
- Restart your device
For the most part, just waiting a few days for the App to update is all it takes to stop getting the error message.
We recommend NOT uninstalling the App. The message usually continues appearing and the problem may be aggravated due to not having the App.
