How to visualise trails in 3D?

Upon accessing the details of a trail, you will find a new option: a 3D button integrated into the map. This button allows you to easily switch between the classic 2D view and the new 3D perspective.

For first-time users, a short and intuitive introductory tutorial is provided to help you navigate this new dimension effortlessly. Hey, It’s super simple! Just drag the map using the right mouse button to explore different perspectives and angles.

The embedded compass indicates the map's north direction and current inclination angle. Clicking on the compass resets the map to its original orientation, facing north at a 45° angle.

Follow the trail with an animation

Enhance your experience even more by activating a route animation with the Play button. This animation can be paused anytime by moving the map or clicking the Stop button.

You can also manually track the trail by hovering your cursor over the elevation profile.

Like the 2D maps, the 3D view highlights the most popular waypoints, with detailed information to enrich your exploration further
