How to upload a trail from a Trail File (gpx)

Do you want to know how to upload a route from a Track File?

From Wikiloc's Website, you can upload trails from a file saved on your computer in the following formats:
  • .gpx
  • .kml
  • .kmz
  • .fit
  • .tcx
If your file has a different format from those listed above, we suggest the use of GPS Visualizer to convert GPS files to .gpx (available online for free).
To upload the trail, follow these steps:
  1. Log into Wikiloc's website and sign in with your username.
  2. From your profile, click on "Upload Trails" at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose the "Upload file" option which says "Select the file containing the GPS tracks and waypoints to upload"
  4. Choose the file saved on your computer.
  5. Make sure the track and the Waypoints you want to create are correctly selected. Click on "Continue".
  6. Fill in the fields: Name, description, activity, technical difficulty, privacy setting, photos and videos. Click on "Continue".
Remember that a quality description will increase your TrailRank and UserRank.
  7. You can add your Trail Buddies.
  8. You can also opt to share it on Social Networks.
